Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients, ensuring effective management of respiratory conditions in a hospital setting. The Respiratory Therapist will operate within scope of practice to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license at start date.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to float within hospital departments, including labor and delivery.
• Be able to work a 3x12 night shift schedule with holiday rotation.
• No restrictions on first-time applicants for night shift positions.
