Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Neuro Med/Surg unit within a Level II Trauma Center. Deliver attentive, compassionate care, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform basic wound care.
• Monitor patient progress using telemetry, pulse oximetry, and other medical equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care and facilitate timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform procedures such as IV starts and wound care.
• Ability to provide compassionate bedside care and engage with patients and families effectively.
• Knowledge of telemetry and use of hospital equipment.
