Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to provide exceptional patient care on a 28-bed unit. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform clinical procedures including CVC management and IV therapy.
• Document patient progress accurately using the Meditech system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and unit guidelines, including dress code and documentation protocols.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts, maintaining flexibility for floating as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Proven proficiency in handling respiratory, renal, GI, and procedural devices such as IV pumps, SCDs, and ventilators.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, compassionate communication, and collaborative skills.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
