Job Summary:

Seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated respiratory care team in a rural healthcare setting. The role involves performing a wide range of respiratory procedures and supportive therapies to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and perform advanced respiratory procedures including ventilator management, airway care, and bedside spirometry.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as oxygen therapy, aerosol administration, and bronchial hygiene techniques.
• Conduct diagnostic tests including ABG collection and interpretation, PFTs, EKGs, EEGs, and cardiac monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
• Provide patient education on respiratory conditions, smoking cessation, and asthma management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC.
• Hold an active Colorado state license in good standing.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, with recertification within 6 months of employment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both basic and advanced respiratory care procedures.
