Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate ventilators and airway management equipment to support patient respiratory needs.
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed by medical staff.
• Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in respiratory status.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and industry standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current acute care RRT license with a minimum of 6 months of hospital experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Certification from NBRC or CRT credential preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR and ventilator management highly desirable.
• PEDS, NICU, or PICU experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
