Job Summary:

Provides expert physical therapy services to patients, designing and implementing treatment plans aimed at restoring functional mobility and improving quality of life. Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Implements therapeutic interventions using established clinical techniques and equipment.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment strategies as needed to meet goals.
• Documents patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely.
• Supervises and educates therapy assistants and support staff.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent; licensure required if obtained on or after January 2016.
• Possess a minimum of two years recent experience in physical therapy preferred.
• Maintain current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
• Hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
