Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment aligned with physician orders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and establish nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and abnormal patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
