Job Summary:

Provides direct personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), supporting their activities of daily living and ensuring comfort and safety. Supports the healthcare team by performing routine clinical and clerical tasks to maintain an organized and efficient unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with basic needs including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure accurately.
• Support nutritional and hydration needs of patients, ensuring proper intake.
• Perform clerical duties such as documenting patient reports and updates.
• Communicate patient status and concerns to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain unit organization by prioritizing tasks and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Be licensed or certified per state requirements for nursing assistants.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
