Job Summary:
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living and routine patient care to support patient comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and hydration.
• Perform vital signs measurement such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Help with patient positioning, personal care, and use of restraints or assistive devices.
• Report patient status, responses, and concerns to the RN accurately and promptly.
• Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment to ensure efficient unit operations.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; equivalent experience preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• At least two years recent healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems required.
• Valid nursing license as per the state of assignment preferred.
