Job Summary:

Provide urgent care nursing services within an emergency room setting, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient and compassionate treatment for all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive emergency nursing care, including assessments, specimen collection, and patient monitoring.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver timely and appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and care provided.
• Oversee clinic operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and safety protocols.
• Adhere to infection control policies and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Participate in ongoing education, competencies, and staff meetings to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of urgent care or emergency room nursing experience.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate strong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
