Job Summary:
Provides nursing care within an urgent care setting, delivering timely, evidence-based interventions for patients of all ages. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality health outcomes and ensure efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial triage, assessments, and vital sign measurements for urgent care patients.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions, including IV therapy and monitoring of specialized equipment.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, education provided, and follow-up plans accurately.
• Facilitate and coordinate patient referrals within SEARHC and external facilities, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Respond to emergency situations, participating in triage and life-saving procedures.
• Support clinic operations by maintaining supplies, adhering to infection control policies, and participating in team improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Alaska RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience, including 1 year in an urgent or ambulatory care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; High Risk Competency preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills.
• Proficient in using medical equipment, EMR systems, and charting practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in fast-paced environments.
