Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic and telemetry patients in a 22-bed medical-surgical unit. Serve as an integral team member ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care, including orthopedic joint replacements and fracture management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips to assess patient cardiac status as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses.
• Comply with safety protocols, including certification and vaccination requirements.
• Support patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate significant orthopedic nursing experience, particularly with joint replacements and fractures.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Have a valid driver’s license with address outside 50 miles from the facility.
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have approved exemption documentation.
• Possess strong clinical assessment skills, including telemetry interpretation.
