Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to assist in diagnostic interpretation. The role involves patient education, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans following established protocols and radiologist instructions.
• Ensure radiation safety and comply with ALARA standards to protect patients and staff.
• Prepare and position patients accurately, verifying identification and obtaining informed consents as needed.
• Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient history, and equipment status.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as scheduling, patient transportation, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT or ARDMS registration in Computed Tomography or relevant modality.
• Possess current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum two years of prior CT technologist experience preferred.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and proficiency with electronic medical records (PACS, RIS/HIS).
• Be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and adapt to schedule changes.
