Job Summary:

Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure patient safety, provide excellent patient care, and maintain operational efficiency of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment following established protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients accurately for CT scans, utilizing positioning devices and protective equipment as needed.
• Assist radiologists during routine and interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate and optimize image quality, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, contacting service technicians when necessary.
• Document all procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health records, including charges and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have at least two (2) years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and contrast administration.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
