Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides rehabilitative care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients regain mobility and improve functional outcomes. This role involves assisting in implementing treatment plans and supporting patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care routines.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interventions and responses.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid State Physical Therapy Assistant license or credential.
• Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting working with physical therapy patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols and documentation requirements.
• CPR certification preferred.
