Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting, focusing on adult patients requiring medical-surgical or telemetry monitoring. The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry data, responding promptly to changes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Must possess or obtain BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH preferred.
• Demonstrate competency in telemetry monitoring and clinical assessments.
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend.
