Job Summary:
Provides specialized respiratory therapy care to pediatric patients in a Level 4 NICU. Works within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal respiratory health and safety for neonates, infants, and children.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions for neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status, making adjustments as necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain competency in pediatric and neonatal respiratory procedures and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all certification, licensing, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RRT certification, with NBRC or SC RCP licensure.
• Possess 2+ years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Have current BLS, PALS, and NRPC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic medical records preferred.
• Be able to work a 3x12 day shift, including holidays, with on-call responsibilities off.
• Hold South Carolina RRT license or pending application with proof of process.
