Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a Level 4 NICU and pediatric cardiac units. Operate primarily during 3x12 night shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through advanced respiratory interventions and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients, including airway management, mechanical ventilation, and oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to pediatric needs.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments, adjusting therapy protocols based on clinical guidelines and patient status.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions, patient progress, and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements and hospital protocols, including BLS, PALS, and NBRC credentials.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly, providing critical respiratory support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an RRT certification and valid South Carolina RRT license, with the ability to obtain prior to start.
• Possess at least 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record system (preferred).
• Maintain current BLS, PALS, and NBRC/National Board of Respiratory Care credentials.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in neonatal and pediatric respiratory management.
• Be prepared to work night shifts and participate in holiday rotation.
