Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on a 20-bed transplant nephrology unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting patients undergoing kidney transplants and renal treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments following clinical guidelines.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and escalate issues as needed.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech system.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and transplant procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ADN and valid RN license.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience, with nephrology or transplant experience preferred.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Ability to work 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Prior experience with dialysis and renal care is highly desirable.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
