Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, supporting patients through childbirth and postpartum recovery. Ensure a safe, compassionate, and efficient environment for mother and newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care, including labor support, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical observations, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Hold current NRP, BLS, and ALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in high-risk obstetric care and neonatal stabilization.
• Skilled in use of fetal monitoring equipment and electronic health records (Cerner preferred).
• Possess strong interpersonal skills; friendly, adaptable, and outgoing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
