Job Summary:
Seeking a registered nurse with at least one year of recent experience in Medical Surgical/Tele (MS/Tele) nursing. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic unit, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult orthopedic patients, including post-surgical and medical conditions.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments in accordance with physician’s orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform specialized procedures such as bedside lumbar punctures, post-catheterization, and post-biopsy care as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid SC or multistate RN license with active certification.
• Minimum of one year recent acute care experience, specifically in MS/Tele or orthopedic units.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• EPIC EMR proficiency with at least 1-year hands-on experience.
• Ability to float to other units or campuses within scope of documented competencies.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
