Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care within a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit to ensure patient safety and promote recovery. This position requires flexibility to cover short-term needs during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and document patient conditions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recognize early signs of deterioration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure timely completion of all documentation and compliance with unit policies.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications, including BLS and ACLS, and complete required modules.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in MS/Tele.
• Demonstrate active and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
• Exhibit proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be able to pass ECG recognition test and safety assessments during orientation.
