Job Summary:

Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting. Ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality clinical outcomes for the patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with patient assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Possess a minimum of 12 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry Nursing.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Be willing to work rotating day/night shifts and every other holiday.
• Pass a structural ECG rhythm test and SafeMedicate assessment with minimum acceptable scores.
