TactStaff Edu is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in elementary and middle school settings throughout the Detroit Metro Area for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working as part of a school team and is comfortable supporting students receiving special education services, including students with cognitive impairments and varying communication needs.

Position Highlights

• $65–$70/hour W2, based on experience
• Full-time schedule

• Support students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Work with students receiving special education services, including cognitive impairments
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and progress monitoring
• Conduct assessments and provide individualized speech and language services
• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026–2027 school year

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Michigan LARA Speech-Language Pathology license required
• ASHA certification/CCC-SLP preferred
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience working with students with cognitive impairments or significant disabilities is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary school team
• Must be available to work onsite
