Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to perform inpatient blood collection and laboratory specimen services. This role supports laboratory operations during a system transition to ensure continuous quality and accuracy in testing.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples and specimens from inpatient patients following established protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation for all samples.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures at all times.
• Support laboratory staff in the testing process during the laboratory information system implementation.
• Maintain equipment and supplies related to phlebotomy procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of inpatient phlebotomy experience.
• Certification in BLS (AHA) is required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in blood collection procedures and specimen handling.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, holidays, and callbacks.
• Capable of using state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation and adhering to safety standards.
• Possess reliable transportation if travel is required or preferred.
