Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns through expert clinical practices and compassionate support.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Administer medications, perform fetal monitoring, and assist with surgical procedures such as cesarean sections.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certification in NRP, BLS, and ALS required.
• Proven experience with high-risk pregnancies and neonatal resuscitation.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and fetal monitoring.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing, friendly, and adaptable.
