Job Summary:
Provides assessment and therapy to hospitalized patients to restore and improve their physical and cognitive functions, ensuring safe discharge and enhanced quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
• Adhere to facility policies and safety standards throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate records to comply with licensing and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent IPR and Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and treating hospitalized patients.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
• Keep current with industry best practices and continuing education.
