Job Description
Job Summary:
Seek an experienced Cath Lab Technician to perform and assist with a variety of interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will support specialized cardiac interventions and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemakers, and Peripheral Procedures.
- Prepare and ensure the proper functioning of equipment such as EMCO, EKOS, and other specialized tools.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures to ensure patient stability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist in post-procedure care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize procedural success and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Min of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or interventional cardiology environment.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Valid AART or RCIS credential.
- Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT, Radiology).
- Proven competency in performing specialized procedures including PCI, structural heart interventions, and device placements.
- Strong understanding of cath lab equipment, safety procedures, and patient monitoring.
