Job Details

Job Summary:
Assist with specialized cardiovascular procedures, including angiography and interventional imaging, by conducting diagnostic and therapeutic scans on patients. Prepare patients, position them correctly, and select technical parameters to ensure optimal imaging results. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate imaging support and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Position patients accurately and set anatomic and technical parameters for imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Observe patient responses during procedures and report any abnormal activity promptly.
• Perform advanced imaging procedures such as angio, vascular, and nonvascular interventions, supporting the Radiologist/PA.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and recommend updates to protocols as needed to improve safety and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies during all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Obtain Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credential or ARRT radiologic technologist certification before start date.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant experience or an associate’s/technical degree or 4 years of applicable job experience.
• Credentialed in radiography or cardiovascular invasive procedures.
• Experience with complex vascular and interventional imaging preferred.
