Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Cath Lab Technician specialized in Diagnostic and Interventional procedures to support adult to geriatric patient populations. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on electrophysiology (EP) and catheterization lab services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization and electrophysiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain and operate advanced lab equipment including Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, and other system software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care and accurate procedural outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies regarding scrub color, float requirements, and call schedules, including holiday coverage.
- Complete all required compliance and clinical screenings prior to start date.
- Contribute to a clean and organized lab environment, ensuring all supplies and medications are available and properly documented.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; first-time travelers accepted.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Valid RN license for GA or a compact license.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with floating and call duties.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and during major holidays as required.
