Job Summary:
The Technologist in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures plays a critical role in assisting with complex imaging procedures in a high-acuity environment. They provide technical support and ensure patient safety during interventional and specialized radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems.
• Assist physicians during procedures including Permcath placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma interventions.
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC Cupid and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and ensure procedural success.

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT or RTR certification with at least 2 years of IR/Special Procedures experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care GTT management and vascular interventions.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess strong knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and protocols.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
