Job Summary:
A Radiology RN specializing in special procedures is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing radiology procedures. This role involves administering IV sedation and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV sedation and monitor patient responses during radiology procedures.
• Prepare patients for radiology interventions, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols in all procedures.
• Document patient information, procedure details, and sedation levels accurately.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in a related specialty such as ICU, ER, or PACU.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV sedation and patient monitoring.
• Possess current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in radiology, ICU, ER, or PACU settings.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
