Job Summary:
The IR Tech will provide specialized interventional radiology support in a fast-paced hospital environment, assisting with complex procedures and ensuring patient safety. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment and supporting clinical teams during interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with TCAR, TEVAR, peripheral vascular work, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and other interventional procedures.
• Operate equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream, adhering to safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately within the EPIC Cupid system.
• Support the clinical team in managing critical care patients, including stroke and trauma cases.
• Maintain sterile environment and assist with patient positioning and prep.
• Follow hospital policies on safety, dress code, and patient care protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of IR or critical care vascular experience.
• Possess ARRT/ARRT or RCIS credentials.
• Have experience with complex vascular procedures and use of advanced imaging tech.
• Be capable of working 4–10-hour shifts, including call responsibilities.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
