Job Summary:

Provides non-invasive, routine medical support services under the supervision of healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care. Assists with clinical tasks and maintains patient flow in a busy outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and verify patient information upon check-in.
• Record vital signs and update patient records accordingly.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy procedures as ordered.
• Conduct audiometry and vision tests to assist in patient assessments.
• Report significant findings and patient observations to the supervising clinician.
• Perform additional clinical duties as assigned to support team operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider required.
• Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certification within six months of hire preferred.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a clinical outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient confidentiality, and urgency in task completion.
