Job Summary:

Provides clinical support by assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, performing routine procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and check in patients to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Record vital signs and pertinent patient information accurately.
• Assist physicians with office procedures, including preparing instruments and supplies.
• Perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered.
• Maintain patient recall systems and documentation for lab tests, referrals, and transfers.
• Report significant findings and patient observations to the healthcare provider.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or related experience preferred.
• Valid Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (MA) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of two years recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with electronic health records, preferably EPIC.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately and efficiently.
