Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient rehabilitation and recovery efforts. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans prescribed by licensed physical therapists.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for patient sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Current PTA license or certification in good standing.
• Proven experience assisting in physical therapy treatments.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitation exercises and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Must bring valid state or federal ID and wear a photo badge at all times.
