Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, accurate assessments, and adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical/telemetry units.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately and respond according to protocols.
• Complete all required documentation and verify medication administration using Epic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Comply with all safety, licensing, and orientation assessments including safeMedicate and ECG recognition tests.
• Maintain current licenses (Ohio or compact) and certifications (BLS, ACLS) at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, with at least 18 months combined perm experience in the specialty.
• Provide at least one recent managerial reference from within the past 12 months in the specialty.
• Possess active certifications in BLS and ACLS, in-hand and valid.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments successfully during orientation.
• Pass background check, drug screen, and ECG recognition test with acceptable scores.
