Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units during night shifts. Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and safety standards to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, telemetry, and ECG rhythms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient emergencies.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or a Compact State license in hand at submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, preferably within one facility.
• Have active BLS and ACLS certifications, with willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
• Submit two recent management references from the past 12 months, preferably from nurse managers, ANMs, supervisors, or directors.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Be willing to work night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
