Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a hospital ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and critical care procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neurology ICU patients, including post-thrombectomy and TPA administration cases
• Monitor patient conditions regularly, utilizing bedside EVDs, A-line monitoring, and other advanced equipment
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and unit-specific policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately within the Cerner system
• Float to other ICU units or step-down units as needed to support staffing needs

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with ICU experience of at least 2 years
• Current ACLS, BLS certifications required
• Experience with neurology post-thrombectomy, TPA patients, and neurosurgery post-op care preferred
• Proficiency in using Baxter pumps, bedside EVD management, and CRRT procedures
• Strong understanding of ICU protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation systems
• Ability to work self-scheduled shifts, including weekends, and adapt to float policies
