Job Summary:
The MRI Tech is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis. Under minimal supervision, they operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of MRI examinations following established protocols.
• Position patients correctly and obtain optimal imaging results.
• Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to, including radiation badge management.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the medical charting system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver complete imaging services.
• Prepare and calibrate MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience.
• Hold ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and a current state license if applicable.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing general MRI exams, including specialty procedures such as breast and cardiac imaging.
• Be capable of working within a 60-mile radius of the facility.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including M-F days and potential weekend coverage.
