Job Summary:
The MRI Tech is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis. They operate MRI equipment in adherence to established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI examinations on diverse patient populations according to protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and positioning them appropriately.
• Ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards by adjusting equipment settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with image storage and transfer.
• Follow safety guidelines, including radiation badge management and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure efficient scheduling and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (MR) certification or ARMRIT credential.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent MRI experience.
• Maintain active BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing advanced MRI procedures such as elastography and cardiac imaging.
• Possess a valid state license or proof of application if pending.
• Show excellent patient communication and technical skills.
