Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis. This role involves operating advanced MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols for a variety of patient populations.
• Ensure equipment setup and calibration meet safety and technical standards.
• Maintain detailed patient records and charting within the Epic system.
• Monitor patient responses and address any discomfort or safety issues during procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety requirements and provide radiation badges as necessary.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to optimize imaging quality and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with an active state license (if required).
• Possess 2+ years of recent MRI technologist experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment; familiarity with Sectra and Epic preferred.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Ability to perform general MRI exams, including specialized modalities like breast, cardiac, elastography, and defecography.
• Must comply with the radius rule (60 miles) and possess or be able to obtain South Carolina RN license.
