Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Manages complex clinical situations and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care strategies.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including code blues and other urgent events.
• Assist with procedures such as post-cath interventions, balloon pump, and Impella management.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Hold a current, valid state nursing license; pending licenses not accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; epic experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to float across multiple campuses as needed.
• Have successful travel or agency experience, demonstrating adaptability.
• Be willing to work night shifts (3x12s, 19:00 - 07:00) without blocked schedule options.
