Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized critical care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role demands vigilant patient monitoring, administering treatments, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and document vital signs and clinical observations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including code situations and unforeseen patient deteriorations.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, facility protocols, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or valid compact license for the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU nursing experience.
• Provide an active BLS and ACLS certification at time of submission.
• Submit a recent reference from a supervisor within the past 12 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU patient assessment, telemetry, and emergency response.
• Be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
