Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Tele unit to provide exceptional patient care across diverse cases. The nurse will work within a dynamic team, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, COPD, oncology, and post-cardiac cath.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications, including titration of drips for Heparin, insulin, and other set-rate solutions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Manage respiratory equipment like CPAP and BiPAP with support from RTs.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must pass a cardiac rhythm interpretation exam.
• Experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units preferred; first-time travelers are acceptable.
• Ability to interpret ECG strips and manage cardiac patients.
• Proven competency in patient assessments, medication administration, and use of respiratory equipment.
