Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The RN will perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in EMR systems.
• Monitor vital signs and identify early signs of patient deterioration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Float to other units as needed, demonstrating versatility and competency.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in adult medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR system experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and SC RN license.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to float assignments within various units.
