Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Tele RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, specializing in step-down and telehealth units. This role involves managing acute patient needs during night shifts and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately in Epic EMR.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or multi-state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Ability to float within scope to other units as needed.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
