Job Description
Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) specializes in providing patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. This role involves supporting complex procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
- Prepare and maintain the procedural environment, including equipment setup and sterilization.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and health management.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with relevant state licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology lab.
- Proficiency with MACLAB and cardiac lab procedures.
- Strong communication skills and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility for schedule needs.
- Must meet all unit-specific skill requirements for EP lab RN roles.
