Job Summary:
TRAVEL - RN Cath Lab (746) /MC Frisco / 7:30A-3:30P is a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (Cath Lab/EP) nursing role focused on advanced, patient-centered cardiovascular care. The RN will support diagnostic and interventional procedures while maintaining safety, clinical documentation, and independent workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assess patients prior to cardiac cath and EP procedures.
• Assist during procedures by supporting aseptic technique and appropriate sterile workflow.
• Monitor patients and respond to hemodynamic and physiologic changes throughout care.
• Coordinate required testing and documentation using Meditech and cath lab workflow standards.
• Support pacemaker, EP ablation, and vascular intervention readiness, including setup and support.
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain efficient operations and patient-centered communication.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Hold active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and the ability to work independently.
• Provide experience supporting cardiac caths and EP-related procedures (training available for additional areas).
• Show proficiency or experience with MacLab monitoring preferred (training available).
• Bring adaptability, initiative, and a flexible, supportive patient care approach.
