Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a high-acuity NICU setting. Ensure the safe and effective management of ventilated patients with advanced equipment and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Independently admit and manage vented neonatal patients using Servo-U ventilators.
• Set up and monitor heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Administer non-invasive ventilation such as biPAP and CPAP in accordance with unit protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment including F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, and high-frequency ventilation devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic system, adhering to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Respiratory Therapist license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1-year Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU critical care experience.
• Proficiency with neonatal ventilators and invasive/non-invasive respiratory therapies.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology and respiratory procedures.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to high-pressure situations.
• PALS certification required.
